The band has welcomed 6 new players on cornets, baritone and euphonium since the last update. This is great news but we do still have vacancies and would welcome more players. We have 23 players on our books.
We have got a number of jobs lined up for 2025. We have been rehearsing and look forward to playing out in public. The first job is on 26th April at Yate Heritage centre.
So far we have the following jobs scheduled in 2025:
26/04/25 – Yate Heritage Centre, St George’s Day. Playing 11am – 11.30am & 12.30pm – 1pm.
05/05/25 – Tytherington – May Day Fair. Times TBC 1.30pm – 3.30pm.
10/05/25 – VE Day celebrations, Thornbury. Times TBC approx. 10 – 10:45 and 11 – 11:30
12/07/25 – Wallace and Gromit. St Marys Centre Thornbury 11 – 13:00
26/07/25 – Beech House Care Home Fete in Thornbury. Times approx 2pm – 4pm.
04/10/25 – Tytherington Concert. Times TBC, likely to start play at 7.30pm.
09/11/25 – Tytherington, Remembrance Sunday. 10am.
